I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, providing specialist care in Lincoln and Boston, Lincolnshire, with my NHS practice based at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust. My expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including bunions, lesser toe deformities, flat feet, Achilles tendon issues, midfoot and hindfoot reconstructions, keyhole ankle surgery, and diabetic foot reconstruction.
After earning my MBBS and diploma in orthopaedics at the University of Kerala, India, I moved to the UK in 2005. I completed my FRCS (Tr&Orth) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, followed by advanced training in foot and ankle surgery at Southampton University Hospital, University Hospital of South Manchester, and diabetic foot care at King’s College Hospital.
Beyond clinical practice, I am deeply passionate about medical education. I currently serve as Deputy Director of Medical Education at United Lincolnshire Hospitals and Academic Lead for Orthopaedics at the University of Lincoln Medical School. I also hold a postgraduate qualification in Medical Education from the University of Glasgow.
Research has always been a key focus of my career. I have authored over 25 publications, including 14 peer-reviewed articles, and my current interests lie in forefoot pain and diabetic foot surgery. I also lecture nationally on diabetic foot management and reconstruction.
As a member of professional organisations like BOFAS and the International Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons, I stay at the forefront of my field. Additionally, I provide medico-legal expertise for personal injury claims.
