I have been a practicing GP for nearly 15 years and currently serve as a Clinical Director and GP partner at Swineshead Medical Group. As a qualified GP trainer, I mentor registrars and auxiliary staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. I strongly believe that understanding how diverse roles work together is essential to delivering exceptional patient care, both within the practice and across the broader health and social care system.
With diplomas in diabetes and dermatology, I have developed a particular interest in these fields. This specialised training has deepened my appreciation for the value of integrated teams and how effective collaboration between Primary and Secondary care can alleviate pressure on hospitals while ensuring patients receive care closer to home.
