Musculoskeletal First-Contact Practitioner

Owais is a chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist with several years of working experience. He attained his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree in 2015 and started working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Later he completed his MSc in sports medicine at University of Glasgow in 2018. In addition to his degrees, he also completed Injection therapy and Non-medical prescribing courses from University of Essex and University of Nottingham respectively.

Arooba is a chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist who has been working with NHS patients within primary care since early 2022 with a 4 years of prior hospital based exeperience as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She is well trained in different Manual therapy treatment interventions such as Maitland Mobilisation, Cyriax technique, Kinesiotaping, Radial shockwave therapy, Exercise modulation and prescription, Injury prevention, etc.

Faizan is a chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist with several years of working experience. He has been working as a First contact musculoskeletal practitioner with multiple Primary care networks within Grimsby region and is highly skilled in completing detailed MSK condition assessment, identifying referral pathways, requesting required imaging/ tests to aid MSK diagnosis. He also has high skill set to deliver multimodality MSK treatment interventions.

Bisma is a chartered and HCPC-registered physiotherapist with several years of working experience in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She got her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree in 2020 and completed her Master's in Advanced physiotherapy in 2022 from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). She is skilled in manual therapy and soft tissue mobilisation techniques. She also has profound skills in Biomechanical analysis and rehabilitation to implement on athletes and patients keen in sports.

She is a registered FCP, non-medical prescriber and an injection therapist. She is skilled in manual therapy, acupuncture, shockwave , plasma rich protein injections and currently training to complete musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound. Involvement in pilot FCP service delivery etc.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience in the field of MSK Physiotherapy of clinical experience in the field of MSK Physiotherapy, Hema is an advanced MSK practitioner who has been actively involved in Physiotherapy and FCP service development/implementation across Lincolnshire since 2010. He is a Non-medical prescriber, injection therapist, and has profound skills in delivering different manual therapy techniques, shockwave treatment, plasma rich protein injections.
